Welcome to Early Reading Intervention at Rebecca Creek Elementary! As a reading interventionist, I believe that all children are worthy of the opportunity to thrive in the world through positive support. Research shows that many reading difficulties can be reduced or even eliminated as a result of evidence-based instructional interventions. These interventions are more effective in the early grades than intervention provided in later grades. I am passionate about helping young children become confident and capable readers through targeted, systematical, evidence-based instruction. I work closely to collaborate with teachers so that, together, we can provide a positive and structured approach to reading instruction in order to meet the needs of every child.
